This week lots of things happened around upgrading myself to a better technology. Actually I decided to buy Windows 7 (after a push from my business partner who claims that are very good and stable and showed me an article for this too). In fact I pre ordered them from amazon as they are in a very good price.

I found this term in Wikipedia, after hearing a video from you tube (mentioned in the article about 2012). There I heard that in order for a guy who investigated various 2012 or disaster predictions in the past used this method: Postdiction.

This video and its series prsent the historical facts behind the 21st of December 2012. I got into it and found it very interesting. It seems that many civilizations predicted for this date. Either an ending or a new beginning.

What is really that thing that pushes us to insist on something? Or prefer something and by not having complete picture of it we have this urge to “persuade” others to adopt/follow/like it? Is it a “simple” need to make others believe what we think as proper and correct? How far does it goes?

Why people do not change really? I mean civilaztion as we look at it throughout history goes from bad to ugliest. Even science which “seems” to progress does not really provide something unique for humanity.

Starting from a statement I read in an Irish website http://www.examiner.ie , I digged further into this subject. Can it really be a special category in world wide reports named “Children Poverty”? Really?
