This week lots of things happened around upgrading myself to a better technology. Actually I decided to buy Windows 7 (after a push from my business partner who claims that are very good and stable and showed me an article for this too). In fact I pre ordered them from amazon as they are in a very good price.
Additional to this I installed windows mobile 6.5 in my HTC Touch Diamond 2. Well I have to say that without assistance I would still searching as it involves ROM changes. The new look is great plus these windows are faster, yet not completely smooth yet. Sometimes, when i call some applications things go slooooow.
But most of all the biggest decision I made was to change my default browser from Firefox (FF) to Internet Explorer 8 (IE 8). This was a huge decision as I liked a lot Firefox until their latest version and I used it for quite some years. This last version still is with lots of bugs, very slow, frequently crashes, Norton Anti Phishing plus Norton Identity Safe does not work, etc! Yet! So this drove me to this change. I just imported all my bookmarks from FF with 2 clicks via IE8. I do not have huge demands from my browser, I just wanted one to be stable and IE8 did it this time. This is a fast browser with compatibility options for websites build in previous versions.
So that is all, and with this post I open the Technology category where I will try to write about things that are trully useful.
